Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. What We Collect

Private Temp Mail is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require registration, and we do not collect personal information such as names, permanent email addresses, or phone numbers.

2. Email Messages

Emails received at temporary addresses are stored on our server for a maximum of 24 hours and then automatically and permanently deleted. We do not read, analyze, or process the content of your emails for any purpose other than delivering them to the temporary inbox.

3. Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember your active inbox addresses between visits. This data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

4. Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool, to understand general usage patterns such as page views and visitor counts. Umami does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No individual visitors are tracked or identified.

5. Cookies

We do not use cookies. The only client-side storage is localStorage for remembering your inbox addresses and theme preference.

6. Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. We do not display advertisements. We do not integrate with any third-party tracking services.

7. Data Security

While we take reasonable measures to protect the service, temporary email inboxes are inherently public. Anyone who knows the email address can view its messages. Do not use this service to receive sensitive or confidential information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
